I have a degree in English and I am TEFL Certified.
I just finished working in a college in Argentina and now I'm traveling through Latin America!
I was born and raised in the north of England where I also completed my degree of English/Spanish. I’m obsessed with playing guitar, playing tennis/pádel and horror movies.Me as a Teacher
I’ve had plenty of experience in a teaching environment such as after school clubs, lessons in schools and summer camps. I’ve worked as a teacher in Bradford, Manchester, London, New York and Madrid. I've been teaching for around 8 years and now I'm ready to work online. I feel most comfortable with Spanish speaking students as I feel like I can offer the most help since I have a C2 in Spanish.My lessons & teaching style
I used to take conversation classes on italki in Spanish to overcome my initial embarrassment and fear of speaking Spanish. By taking these classes, my Spanish level finally reached the next level which is why I want to offer casual conversation classes. I want to ensure that my students have a place where they can feel comfortable speaking and learn new vocabulary to allow them to reach the next level, just like I did. I prefer a class which feels more like talking to a friend but also getting feedback and/or advice at the end of the lesson.
