Hello everyone! I'm Shirin. I am 26 years old and I am a psychological counselor. While studying psychological counseling, I studied Turkish Language and Literature as a second department. I was born in Istanbul and I have been living here for 26 years. I took part in various youth projects and volunteered in various countries within the scope of European youth opportunities. I lived in Moldova for 1 month. I love being with different cultures. I'm interested in art. As an amateur, I make clay sculptures and draw pictures. Although I am not very active these days, I have been playing the violin for many years. I'm waiting for my lesson to learn Turkish!Me as a Teacher
I have been working as a school counselor in a private school for 3 years. So I know very well what it means to be a student :) I am extremely patient and progress according to the level of my students. Collaboration between trainer and learner is very important for me. I determine the needs together and create a training plan according to the learning style of the person. I mostly proceed with the applied method, the information is acquired permanently, not memorized.My lessons & teaching style
During my university life, I took various education courses such as education psychology and education methods at the faculty of education for 4 years. In addition, I worked on non-formal education in European youth projects. The importance of writing has been great for many years, but a teaching system that appeals to 4 senses is the most permanent. Learning a language means living. I think it is very important to learn by doing while learning a new language. As someone who has a close command of Turkish culture and grew up with this culture, I promise to learn Turkish with activities, music, videos and conversations. :)My teaching material
