Conversational, Business, and IELTS English - Specialising in improving your confidence! Born in southwest England and now living in Barcelona, I’ve travelled to over 100 countries, bringing a global perspective to every lesson. As a TEFL-qualified teacher with 10 years of experience, I help students use English confidently in real-life situations, whether for travel, work, study, or daily life. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and enjoy photography, football, rugby, and learning about different cultures. I offer three lesson types: Conversational & General English, Business English, and IELTS Preparation. My lessons are fun, friendly, and student-focused, with a strong emphasis on building confidence in a relaxed environment. For Business English, I draw on my previous management experience, including meetings, presentations, negotiations, and professional communication. For IELTS, I have helped more than 30 students achieve their goals and relocate to English-speaking countries. My teaching style is conversation-based and personalised. While lessons are planned, I adapt them to your needs and interests. I encourage students to speak freely without interruption to improve fluency, while I make notes and provide detailed feedback afterwards. I correct grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence structure, and writing mistakes, helping you improve accuracy and confidence while enjoying the learning process.

Joe is so great! He is open-minded, easy-going and possitive teacher and the lessons are a lot of fun and at the same time you can discuss anything. I appreciate the way he provides feedback and he can definitely make friendly, safe and motivating atmosphere. :)
