👉🏽GENKI I & II Specialist 🇯🇵 | Learn Japanese with Confidence! 😊 Hello! I'm Risa, a professional Japanese teacher. Learn Japanese step by step with GENKI I & II! I've been teaching Japanese since 2016 and have taught over 1,000 lessons. I've helped many students work through GENKI I and II, including the final lessons of GENKI II. 📚 My Lessons: GENKI I & II GENKI is a popular textbook for beginner Japanese learners. I use it to help you build a solid foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and conversation. In our lessons, we can: 👉 Understand grammar step by step. 👉 Practice making your own sentences. 👉 Improve your speaking through guided conversation. 👉 Review difficult points and correct mistakes. 👉 Build a study routine with homework and self-study advice. Whether you're just starting GENKI I or working through GENKI II, I'll adapt our lessons to your level, goals, and pace. My aim is to help you understand what you're learning and use it confidently in real conversations. 🌏 A Little About Me I'm originally from Nagano, Japan. Before becoming a Japanese teacher, I worked in Tokyo producing documentary programs. I've lived in China, the US, Canada, and France, and traveled to 30+ countries. I enjoy music, movies, anime, and traveling. I've also studied English, French, and Chinese, so I understand the challenges of learning another language. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and expressing yourself in Japanese. 😊 I look forward to helping you learn Japanese!

Risa-san is a wonderful teacher who takes the time to explain and give examples, while always being kind, understanding, and encouraging. She’s never missed a scheduled lesson in my year of learning with her, and I can tell she really cares about her students. I would highly recommend her class!

As always, it is lots of fun and educational every time. I started with very little Japanese knowledge to being able to have a conversation with Risa for one hour. Thanks to her help!

I have been taking lessons with Risa san for a year now and I feel like I have improved. Of course, I need to study on my own to remember things and reinforce the grammar concepts. Still, if I forgot things, Risa san will kindly help and take time to explain things in details. She seems to have a good understanding of my personal growth and can address issues specifically. Thank you Risa san!
