Certified French teacher with a Master's degree and more than 10 years of experience. Hello ! My name is Aurélie. Originally from Soissons, a small city in the north of France, I was lucky enough to live in different beautiful regions of France as well as abroad, from England to Australia and Germany where I live now. These international life experiences fed my passion for teaching my language and culture. Curious and open-minded, I love to talk about various topics such as cinema or gastronomy around a nice glass of wine. Learning a foreign language myself (German), I understand the challenges that come with it. If you are looking for a passionate, professional and patient teacher, let’s meet! I've been teaching languages for more than 10 years. I fell in love with teaching when I was working as a language assistant in a boarding school in England. I went there after I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English. When I came back to France, I went back to college and graduated with a Master's degree in Foreign Languages Didactics. I worked in France mainly with adults and teenagers over 15 years old. I also worked in the Alliance Française in Sydney and Melbourne while I was in Australia. I've taught people of all level and background. I also have extensive knowledge on the DELF/DALF exam as well as the TCF exam. Each lesson has a lexical, grammatical and cultural angle. I use textbooks, exercise books, PDF and Words documents. You don't have to buy a book. I create a document based on a textbook but I usually add more material. I use videos and audio fil...

Aurélie is always careful to speak at a pace which I can follow and I enjoy our conversations. The teaching materials are good and homework review together very useful.

Another enjoyable lesson with Aurélie. I received lots of clear guidance, with examples, to clarity grammar rules.

Ma professeure est très intuitive de sélectionner les mots corrects que j'essaye de dire. Cela m'aide à améliorer mon vocabulaire. Merci.

Very informative lesson with Aurélie today on the use of the subjunctive. Thanks.

Aurélie has a very good ear and eye for detail and gives me feedback which I appreciate. I also get guidance on areas which I find difficult and Aurélie has a keen sense of knowing what I am trying to explain even though it may not be that clear because I may not have all the vocabulary.
