Hello ! My name is Aurélie. Originally from Soissons, a small city in the north of France, I was lucky enough to live in different beautiful regions of France as well as abroad, from England to Australia and Germany where I live now. These international life experiences fed my passion for teaching my language and culture. Curious and open-minded, I love to talk about various topics such as cinema or gastronomy around a nice glass of wine. Learning a foreign language myself (German), I understand the challenges that come with it. If you are looking for a passionate, professional and patient teacher, let’s meet!
I've been teaching languages for more than 10 years. I fell in love with teaching when I was working as a language assistant in a boarding school in England. I went there after I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English. When I came back to France, I went back to college and graduated with a Master's degree in Foreign Languages Didactics. I worked in France mainly with adults and teenagers over 15 years old. I also worked in the Alliance Française in Sydney and Melbourne while I was in Australia. I've taught people of all level and background. I also have extensive knowledge on the DELF/DALF exam as well as the TCF exam.
Each lesson has a lexical, grammatical and cultural angle. I use textbooks, exercise books, PDF and Words documents. You don't have to buy a book. I create a document based on a textbook but I usually add more material. I use videos and audio fil...My teaching material

I've been studying French with Aurélie for some months now and I'm super happy with her. She is super professional but also very pedagogic. She explains everything super clearly, she's understanding and patient, and always organizes her lessons in a way that each of them contains a bit of every kind of practice: oral expression, written exercises, grammar, vocabulary... I also see myself advancing and being able to retain and practice in real life what I learn with her, so I'm very happy with her teaching style and will continue with her in the months to come :)
