I'm Maude from Quebec, Canada. I love teaching languages because I want to help people achieve their language related goals and, since I'm a language learner myself, I know what it's like to be on the student side.
I have two language teaching certificates - one for teaching French, one for teaching English.
A few of my hobbies are travelling, playing music, learning languages, running, reading, and cooking.Me as a Teacher
I'm a laid back teacher, it is very easy to make yourself comfortable with me. I like to keep my lessons light-hearted and casual. I'm always very flexible as well and I adapt myself very well to my students' goals.
~Cancellation Policy~
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours before the time of our lesson. Otherwise, I will have to charge you for the time you booked with me. I can be understanding in case of emergencies or technical problems. However, this is my only source of income, please be mindful of that. Thank you for your understanding!My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is similar to me as a teacher: casual, laid back, stress-free and light-hearted! I keep my lessons oriented towards conversation and replicating real-life setting. Please, never feel afraid to make mistakes, that is the best way to learn.5.0

I have been taking lessons with Maude for several months now - she has been an excellent teacher throughout. Her background in linguistics and knowledge of several other languages help expedite my learning, as she is not only able to explain the logic/structure of [complicated and often irregular] French grammar, but also to provide analogies in Spanish, a language I previously learned. She has always been a patient and supportive teacher.
