Let`s Talk around the Clock! I am Catrin. I was born in 1964, I have been married since 20 years and I am a mother of two boys. Most of the time we have a lot of fun together! I am teaching German throughout the week and I love what I am doing. I speak Englisch and some French, a little Italian and Spanish which I plan to improve within the next few weeks. My focus is teaching German by talking as much as possible. I find it important to get used to the sound of a language and to practise speaking and listening. I have made great experience by training these skills by tailor-made approaches. My present students are mostly Italien and Greek and I love to be in touch with people from foreign countries. I prefer a natural and lively approach. Of course I have grammar in mind and my lessons are tailored to the specific needs of a student. My main emphasis, however, is to train speaking and listening skills in order to bring my language closer to those who want to increasingly get familiar with „the sound of German“. My lessons are supported by texts and stories. We shall talk about present challenges and repeat all expressions that are still a little difficult.

So eine gute Lehrerin habe ich noch nie gefunden. Ich kann sie nur empfehlen! Die Stunden sind locker und machen Spaß. Eine Stunde geht immer sehr schnell vorbei. Am Ende der Stunde korrigiert Catrin meine Grammatik und erklärt alles einfach. Das hilft mir sehr. Ich habe auch viele neue Dinge gelernt, besonders wie Muttersprachler wirklich sprechen. Das ist sehr hilfreich für mich.

Catrin ist eine sehr freundliche und nette Person. Ich habe fast zehn Stunden bei ihr genommen und langsam die Angst verloren, Deutsch zu sprechen. Sie ließ mich die ersten 30 bis 45 Minuten sprechen und erzählte mir dann die Grammatik-/Aussprachefehler, die ich gemacht hatte. Mein Deutsch wird immer besser. Für mich ist sie die Beste auf iTalki und ich kann sie nur empfehlen.
