Ting is an outstanding teacher! If you have intermediate to advanced language skills, try a lesson with him (if you're able to get a slot--his classes fill up fast). You will not regret it!

Ting is a great teacher. Two of the things I most appreciate about him are 1. that he comes prepared with good materials to read/listen to and talk about, and 2. he lets me struggle a little before jumping in to help me read an unfamiliar word or express my thought more clearly. I recommend him highly!

Ting is a treasure! He has great materials and is always cheerful and engaged in the conversation. What I especially appreciate is that he doesn't immediately rescue the student when they are struggling to express something, but patiently lets them work it out on their own and then helps them understand how to say it better.
