Hello!
My name is Claire, and I’m a qualified English teacher from the south of England, near Brighton. I hold a degree in Creative Writing from the University of Bath and am currently based in Malaysia, where I teach English to students of various ages and backgrounds.
I’m passionate about helping learners build confidence in their English skills—whether for school, work, travel, or personal growth. I believe that learning should be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time by the sea, reading, cooking and baking, and watching a good film or TV show. I look forward to supporting you on your English-learning journey!Me as a Teacher
I’ve been teaching English for over 10 years and have worked in five different countries. I'm passionate about education and have experience teaching students of all ages and proficiency levels—from complete beginners to advanced learners. My lessons include general English, fluency development, and exam preparation.
I’m a former trained Cambridge Speaking Examiner for A2 Key, B1 Preliminary, B2 First, and C1 Advanced, and I’ve successfully helped many students prepare for these exams.
