Hi! I’m Jasmien, a native Dutch speaker from Belgium with a passion for bridging cultures through language. As a certified TEFL teacher, I specialize in helping beginners and intermediates gain confidence in Dutch, using real-life topics, from travel to art, to make learning lively and relatable. My background in communication and experience teaching diverse students (from Malawi to Brussels) means your lessons will be tailored, engaging, and culturally rich. I took my first steps as a teacher, volunteering weekends in Malawi teaching English to beginners. In Belgium, I volunteered for TADA, an organization that offers extra-curricular activities for socially vulnerable teenagers with different language backgrounds. I am TEFL certified. I have a master in Communication and would love to help you with your academic texts or presentations.My lessons & teaching style
As practice is the key to learn a new language, during our classes the emphasis will be on fluency. Classes will be based on your interests and learning goals, and we’ll make use of images, music, and video in order to aid the learning process.
