My name is William. I have taught both high school and college. Additionally, I have experienced in teaching children. I am now retired and work on Italki. I feel confident that I can improve your preparation for any interview or job. My areas of interest tend to center on business, technology and travel.
I have traveled to over 70 countries and enjoy exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. In my free time, I like to take Italki classes, exercise, and play board games! The feature I like most about Italki is sharing and learning about people's customs and languages.Me as a Teacher
A teacher must be flexible, show cultural sensitivity, and demonstrate a willingness to learn. Patience and humor can be effective tools.
I am also a firm believer that when students take an active role and customize their learning, both the teacher and the student benefit and become partners. I like to emphasize homework for additional practice and implement writing essays to reinforce the subject. Additionally, I will encourage watching movies in the target language as well.
Lastly, I like students to be familiar with both the spoken and formal language and to show mastery in any setting. My lessons & teaching style
I am an inclusive teacher. Whatever works best for my students is my style. I like to build from students' preferences and learning styles. Real-world applications might be a suitable methodology for students who plan a trip to the target country.
Open dialogue situations where students find a plausible solution will also prepare them for a new cultural experience. Lastly, feedback is essential for the students' development. I will be positive in my suggestions but also offer future tips on how to improve. Making mistakes is part of the learning process. I will try to make students feel comfortable in this stage of learning.My teaching material

Mr. William came well prepared to the lesson and guided me through the process of making a good presentation in an interview. He is a caring person and puts a lot of thought and effort into making things easier to learn and understand for his students. He is considerate and a thoughtful teacher who understands his work and his students’ needs. He tailors his teaching style to help his students succeed at achieving their goals.
