Certified French teacher (DAEFLE): we talk, we move, we laugh, and you actually progress 🇫🇷 Hi there! I'm a French teacher with a DAEFLE diploma and training in teaching French as a foreign language (FLE), plus a background in special education. I've been teaching on italki for 7 years, as well as in language centers and schools. I'm easygoing, but serious about results: relaxed vibe, solid work. My approach: your lesson, your way I don't do "one-size-fits-all" lessons. We start with you: your goals, your interests, your pace. Then I build lessons around you. Would you rather: 🚶 walk and chat at the same time? 🍳 cook in French? 🎭 try theatre or role-play? 🎤 sing karaoke? 🎬 learn with videos (listening and speaking practice)? 🎧 listen to a podcast? 🧩 play quizzes and games? 💬 talk about a topic you're passionate about? 📚 follow a textbook and work on your writing, if you prefer a more classic, structured approach? Tell me what you enjoy and I'll shape the lesson around it. Got an original idea? Suggest it. I'm energetic and always up for trying something new! Who I teach Beginners, intermediate and advanced learners, kids and adults. I also adapt to students who need a gentler or more structured approach: my special education background helps me find what works for each person. Why choose me? ✔ DAEFLE-certified + FLE training ✔ 7 years of experience on italki ✔ 100% personalized lessons ✔ Good energy and kindness, with your progress always in focus Book a trial lesson: we'll get to know each other and build your learning plan together! 😊

Roxanne is a wonderful conversationalist who has helped me become more fluent. Any student of French would be fortunate to learn from her.

Today was our first lesson with Roxanne, and we are booking a package! She was wonderful with our 10 year old son--she was engaging, enthusiastic, and she coaxed him into speaking when he is usually shy with new tutors. She will tailor lessons according to the needs of the students. Roxanne is a professional who clearly takes joy in teaching, and we look forward to more lesson with her!
