My name is Thalia and I live in Italy. I grew up in Paris, studied in New York and I am now living in Florence and working in Urban Tourism. I am also the president of an association of polyglots who organize events and labs in order to teach and share their love of languages. Connecting people, teaching/learning languages and discovering new cultures is what I am most passionate about. I have been teaching private classes for years. I have taught French, Greek, English and Italian to all age ranges both in person and online. Apart from languages I have also been organizing French and Italian cooking classes/experiences and enjoy teaching languages by sharing everyday life tasks and fun activities. Except for complete beginners I normally speak only French during the class. If you want me to speak in English (or the rest of the languages I speak) and translate words for you, you will have to insist... I think that the best way to learn French is to forget about English, both during the classes and in your notebooks. You'll have to speak, write and soon dream in French! My lessons are generally divided into two sections. During the first part of the class I concentrate on grammar while on the second one I propose a relaxing and enjoyable activity that will inspire the students to express themselves in the language they are learning.
