Dedicated native and professional French teacher - Be ready to speak French! Hello, Bonjour! Привет! My name is Jasmine, I live in Montpellier, a medieval city on the Mediterranean shores. Native to France, I’ve lived in 4 countries and traveled to 20—giving me firsthand insight into mastering languages through immersion. Besides French, I am fluent in English and Russian. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me at the movies, reading books or sewing. I graduated with a Masters degree in Translation and I hold a university degree in Teaching French as a foreign language. I have learned languages the traditional way at university also by immersion practicing with natives, which was what worked best for me. I would be happy to try whatever method you think may suits you best to progress and I will guide you through the lessons. Everybody is different and has different goals when it comes to learn a language, so there are many ways to teach. We will focus on conversation, do exercises, read, write short texts, you name it! No matter the skills you want to work on and why you want to learn French, I will adapt to your needs. My goal is to help you make progress and gain confidence to speak French. I will do my best for you to feel comfortable with me during the lessons and to help on succeed in your French language project.

I'm so happy that I chose Jasmine as my teacher. She is exactly what I wanted in a teacher. I messaged her before the lesson to let her know what I wanted to accomplish in the lessons, and she was very receptive to what I wanted. She is so easy and calm to talk to. The conversation never felt forced...it was like talking to a friend. She spoke French slowly and clearly so that I could easily understand. You will be very happy if you choose her as a teacher.
