유정선생님 has definitely helped me elevate my Korean now that I reflect on how much I have learned this year. Each class is worth it even when it feels extremely challenging and overwhelming. Her professionalism shines through since she is very patient and knows how to steer students back into the lesson. My journey learning Korean has been tough and it has been hard to self analyze how much I learn. However, when I look at my notes and try reading material that I could not understand a year ago, I see the improvement. If you are looking for a patient, understanding and knowledgable teacher that will give you the assignments and lesson plans to boost your understanding, she is the one to go to. 선생님 정말 감사합니다!

As a 30 year old adult with severe (at times) ADHD, Youjeong has been the best teacher I've had the privilege to learn from on this platform and others. She has been, and still is, very patient when my brain locks up and I forget what we LITERALLY just went over 5 minutes ago. She will give me the chance to remember and will help me when I can't. This kind of understanding is an invaluable thing to have in a teacher. Without her instruction I would maybe be halfway to where I am now. She is also a good person to just talk to. Interesting and engaging when the class inevitably gets side-barred by some random topic that doesn't always pertain to the subject matter in the class. For those few minutes it feels like you are talking with a friend rather than someone you are paying to be there. That carries over to the rest of the class when things get back on track. Even if her class roster is full it is definitely worth the wait to learn from her. 10 out of 10 always! Should be higher!!

선생님 is great! She takes the time to explain certain expressions and pays attentions to her students in lessons to help find weak points. I struggle with listening and speaking so she makes assignments that revolve around listening/speaking. I appreciate how after every homework assignment she reviews and goes over it with you at the beginning of the next class so you get feedback on what you might be doing wrong and where you might need to focus your review sessions. 감사합니다 선생님!

First time meetings are nerve-wracking for me and I always forget how to form sentences in Korean, but the teacher was really good at distracting me with fun topics. I didn't mind as much as usual that I was making mistakes.

Youjeong is an amazing Korean teacher. She is helping me break my barriers and learn more Korean. I have already learned so much from her and can't wait for the next lesson! I highly recommend her for anyone who is looking to further improve their Korean :)

Youjeong is the best. I am constantly reminded how challenging Korean can be but each class I continue to learn more and can see my progression. I started to read once again a low intermediate book a month ago that I tried reading a few years ago and I am already halfway through it. I can confidently say that this was because of the classes I have had with her. The journey is still long and challenging but its been worth it. If you want to improve your Korean, book with her.
