Not a teacher, but your ally :) Let's learn Japanese your way. Hi, I'm Midori! I've been teaching Japanese online since 2020 and have worked with more than 1,000 learners from all over the world. One thing I've learned over the years is that every student is different. Some people love grammar. Some want to improve their pronunciation. Some want structured lessons with homework. Others just want a comfortable place where they can practice speaking Japanese without feeling nervous. That's why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I try to adjust my lessons to each student's goals, personality, and learning style. My lessons are usually relaxed, interactive, and conversation-focused. Making mistakes is completely okay here. In fact, mistakes are often the fastest way to improve. I enjoy meeting people from different countries and backgrounds, and I love hearing about my students' jobs, hobbies, cultures, and life experiences. So whether you want to study with a textbook, prepare for work or university, improve your conversation skills, or simply enjoy speaking Japanese, I'd be happy to support your journey. We had a fun lesson today. I like that she doesn't force a fast pace, she takes care to use old grammar when we converse, and review recent grammar. Today's lesson was about using a piece of grammar to convey emotion. She was helpful in explaining ideal situations to use it.
