Szia! Hello! ¡Hola!
My name is Gellért. I am a Hungarian tutor here on Italki. I have spent three summers in the United States/en los EE.UU. between 2017 and 2019. In the second summer I ended up working with Mexicans in a kitchen of a huge hotel. This summer in 2018 was a life changing experience for me since people from all over the world were working there. Me di cuenta de que/I have realised that studying and teaching languages is my passion. In my free time/En mi tiempo libre I love going to the gym, studying languages, going for a walk with family members and friends and experiencing new activites and things. (I recently added wakeboard to my bucket list) :)Me as a Teacher
No matter what your level is , I can help you, BUT this is especially true if you are one of the 3 students mentioned in the video. When it comes to teaching, I like to make the student familiar with structures and patterns that are "set in stone". According to my students, I am patient and encouraging. I was and I am in the same boat, therefore I am aware of the difficulties one is facing with, while acquiring a new language. Every student is different, everyone has different goals. However, learning the stuctures one can also pull out from its pocket can help tremendously. I am concerned that making mistakes is the only way to make progress, no matter what the object of the learning is. My lessons & teaching style
We always start by acquiring the two most important questions related to language learning. Since every student has different aims and hobbies, no two student will experience the same lesson. When it comes to having a conversation with the student, we will run into obstacles inevitably. It is a good sign that progress is about to happen. I teach words and expressions with which the student will be able to overcome these difficulties and the conversation can flow. :) Just like water.My teaching material

S-Tier teacher (A+). He is the best in listening to the student and explaining how they can improve in a positive manner. Despite having Hungarian family and friends, very few have the ability to really explain this language to an American. Since learning with him my language skills have improved rapidly.

Gellért is such a good teacher! He even stayed on later with me because I confused the start time and was late. When I ask a question, he uses an example to help me arrive at the answer so that it sticks in my head and I can apply it to other similar words or situations. Highly recommend!
