Damla Craine

I've had a lot of teachers since I started to learn german and definitely Damla is the best personal/private teacher I've had. From the first class you realize that she has a professional training as teacher, her knowledge of the language and her way to teach are perfect. Not only she has a huge number of books, resources and material on which she bases her class, but also knows where each topic is, so if you ask her to review a specific topic at the moment, she will have no problem finding it in seconds and fulfill your request. She is highly committed and responsible with class schedules and is SUPER patient, I literally asked her the same question 4 classes in a row haha and all 4 times she answered me in a good way, with no signs of desperation. This makes that in her class you have fun learning. Class normally starts with listening/learning vocabulary, then we review homework, a grammar topic, and she corrects your pronunciation when necessary. Definitely an amazing teacher.

Damla is an excellent teacher. She is encouraging, organized, and always has an appropriate lesson prepared. She has a ton of material to reinforce concepts and is also able to adapt her planned lessons for new topics that come up or to address questions or something I am struggling with. I am making very good progress and would highly recommend Damla for learning German.

Just had my first lesson with Damla and I am very impressed. She is very friendly, patient, organized, and thorough in her explanations. Additionally, she provides structure by giving you homework that is consistent with your current abilities. I can't wait for our next lesson!
