Chill American Teacher from Miami -TEFL certified/10 years of experience - bilingual English/Spanish Hi! My name is Hiram and I'm an english teacher from Miami, FL, USA! I am an extrovert, so I love meeting people from all over the world and having fun conversations. I've been teaching English for 10 years, 9 of them moving around Spain and France and now I'm back in Miami for a little while. My passions include, music, cinema/series, literature, philosophy, comics, cartoons, comedy, culture and much much more! I'm fluent in English and Spanish and speak quite a bit of French. I can't wait to meet you and help you learn English! I have been teaching English as a foreign language for over ten years now, and have even worked as the director of academics at a summer camp for students from abroad. I have a Bachelor's degree in English with a focus on creative writing and a double minor in philosophy and anthropology, a Master's degree in liberal studies, and I am TEFL certified, all from the University of Miami. I also studied music for a while, and have a bartending certificate! I have a very laid back teaching style. I like my students to feel comfortable talking to me, like if you were just chatting with your American buddy from Miami in a cafe or hostel while traveling around the world. I've lived abroad in Spain for 7 years and in France for 2 years, and many of my best friends were learning English, so teaching this way comes very natural to me.
