About Me

Hello everyone, my name is Ayşegül. I graduated from the field of Math Teaching. After graduation, I was appointed to Istanbul as the third rank in Turkey in the KPSS exam and I taught both mathematics and Turkish for 5 years. Then I came to Canada to do my master's degree. I have currently been doing my master's degree in Canada and I have been teaching Turkish at Turkish associations in Canada.

Me as a Teacher

We learn best when we feel comfortable, which is why I'm positive, patient, and encouraging throughout my lessons. As a language learner, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. However, there is no need to be nervous or afraid. We will overcome those challenges together. My goal is to help you progress and become a more confident Turkish speaker!

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons & teaching style During our first lesson, we will get to know each other and discuss your goals as an English speaker. This will allow me to understand your needs and prepare future lesson plans. Our lessons depend on you and your needs. I'm very flexible and I'm happy to adapt to your learning style. Please let me know if you want to work on something specific. I send Youtube videos or worksheets on a particular topic so that you come to class well-prepared with vocabulary and ideas.
