My name is Joe and I am a English tutor from the U.K. I have lived in Germany since 2016.
I am passionate about teaching and helping others improve. As a language learner myself (German and Vietnamese) I understand the challenges faced by adult language learners.
I enjoy reading, hiking, and sports. My main passion, however, is learning, with a strong interest in philosophy, history, and languages. I have experience talking to people from all around the world and am fascinated by other cultures. I look forward to hearing about you and yours!Me as a Teacher

My first lesson was amazing. I absolutely loved talking to Joe, he asked a lot of questions about my background and goals, gave feedback on my level of English, described what is best for improving and explained how our future lessons could look like. Apart from this, Joe has an amazing personality, talking to him was a lovely experience.

I went into the course with high expectations and was still pleasantly surprised. Joe responded wonderfully to my goals and needs and gave me lots of helpful tips and corrections. He quickly recognized where I still needed to work on my English and what was already going well. He is also a easy-going person and knows how to keep a conversation going.
I'm looking forward to more lessons and can highly recommend Joe :)
