I am a TEFL-certified English teacher with a degree in Business Administration and a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University. I specialize in Business English and Pronunciation & Accent reduction training. My innovative teaching technique can help you express your ideas clearly and concisely. I have extensive business development and teaching experience working with corporations in Asia and North America, which has allowed me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. Currently, I reside in the beautiful city of Victoria, Canada.
In 2004, I discovered my passion for teaching while working in China. I was offered the opportunity to teach Business English to a group of Chinese professionals working for multinational companies. This short part-time stint ignited a lifelong passion for teaching. Over the years, I have taught Business English and Accent training to entrepreneurs, senior executives, bureaucrats, and politicians.
In addition to these courses, I also offer intellectual conversational English lessons that engage students in profound conversations on various topics such as current affairs, economics, geopolitics, and social & cultural issues. These lessons help students express themselves at a deeper level.
I teach Business English to professionals and serious college students with an intermediate level of English competency or higher. My lessons challenge students to use English as a medium to expand their understanding of the business...My teaching material

Akbar has excellent interactive materials about business English. You always have homework that you can do on his special website with interesting videos and quizzes. I passed the full course of MBA in English in a short version with Akbar. I totally recommend this teacher if you want to improve your Business skills and English.
