¡Hola! ¿Qué tal? I'm from Barcelona, Spain. I was living in Japan for more than 2 years to study Japanese and learn more about the culture. Since 2022 I have been living as a nomad and pet/house-sitting around the world. I also work as a tour guide in Japan a few times a year.
I speak Spanish and Catalan as my native languages. I also speak Japanese, English and some Portuguese.
I love nature, animals and travelling. I also enjoy football, board and video games and watching Netflix :)
IMPORTANT:
Due to my other job, my schedule can be quite irregular. I can be absent from Italki from 2 weeks to 1 month.Me as a Teacher
I consider myself a flexible, organized, hard-working and fun teacher.
I have more than 4 years of experience as an online teacher, teaching both children and adults. Beginners and Intermediate students are welcome! For advance students, I can offer conversation practice lessons.My lessons & teaching style
Spanish: I teach through a textbook called 'Aula Internacional Plus'. It is a book with many dynamic exercises to practice speaking and listening skills. It also has exercises to practice the grammar and vocabulary learned in each lesson.
For children/teenagers I have 'Lola y Leo' and 'Gente joven' books, with a lot of interactive exercises in order to do the lesson funny and interesting for them. Also I have my own PPT's to support the textbooks with some funny games/activities.
Catalan: I use the textbook called 'A Punt' for those who wants to learn from the scratch. (A1-A2)

If you are 15 minutes late and don't contact me, I will end the lesson and consider it as complete.My teaching material

I just finished the AULA book with Zaida, and I’m really happy with the progress I’ve made with her. The assignments she gives have helped me practice outside of class, and I really appreciate how each lesson is structured but still engaging. Since she’s from Spain, I’ve also learned a lot about Spanish culture and everyday life here, which has been helpful now that I’m living in Spain myself. I highly recommend her to anyone serious about learning Spanish. Gracias, Zaida!
