Hello! My name is Akito, and I'm a passionate and highly experienced Japanese teacher. I have a combined 13 years of experience teaching in public schools and online. I am committed to helping students of all levels succeed. Outside of teaching, I value my family time most. My wife, daughters, and I love to travel and watch movies together. Me as a Teacher

With nearly 10 years of experience in public schools, I have come to deeply understand that every student's learning style and pace are unique. This belief is the foundation of my teaching. Over the last three years as an online Japanese teacher, I have continually refined my methods to provide personalized lessons tailored to each student's goals. I am committed to creating a supportive and effective learning environment where you can learn Japanese in a way that works best for you.

My lessons & teaching style

I offer two primary lesson formats: Grammar & Conversation Lesson: Designed for beginners, this course uses a textbook to systematically cover essential grammar. We'll put new grammar skills into practice through conversation, helping you build a strong foundation for practical communication. Informal Conversation Lesson: Ideal for intermediate to advanced students. You bring the topics you want to discuss, as I will not prepare specific materials. We'll have a spontaneous conversation to improve your fluency, pronunciation, and confidence in a relaxed setting.
