Passionate about languages e literature. Hi! I’m Andrea, a Brazilian Portuguese tutor. I was born in São Paulo and have been living in Canada for the past 15 years. I love helping people learn Portuguese in a way that feels natural, creative, and connected to real life. Whether your goal is to feel more comfortable having conversations or you’re curious about Brazilian literature and culture, we can explore the language through music, poetry, YouTube videos, visual arts, literature, and lots of conversation. I believe we learn much better when we’re genuinely interested in what we’re learning. That’s actually how I learned English and Italian — through authentic, interesting materials and things I was passionate about. In my lessons, there’s no pressure to be perfect. I want you to feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, asking questions, and expressing yourself. We’ll use conversation and real-life situations to build your confidence and fluency at your own pace. My goal is to create a relaxed and welcoming space where you can enjoy the process, discover Brazilian culture, and feel more confident using Portuguese in everyday life.
