My name is Patrícia. I have been teaching English as a second language for ten years. I worked as a translator (English to Portuguese) for 4 years. I speak a little bit of Spanish and I am always trying to learn new languages. I am a native Portuguese speaker and I love my native toungue. That's why I am majoring in education to become a portuguese teacher. Besides being an English teacher for kids, teenagers and adults, I am a Portuguese proofreader, Despite loving and working with English and Portuguese, I have another passion: dance. My first graduation was in 2005. I got a dance degree and I worked as a tap dance teacher for years.Me as a Teacher
Our classes are focused on students' needs and interests. As a teacher, I try to involve students in the learning process. A dynamic and fun class is essential, that's why I do my best to offer an amazing learning experience. My lessons & teaching style
Classes are guided by communicative approach, using a current Portuguese language from Brazil. We'll see grammar, conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation etc. It'll be a dynamic, relaxed and fun environment,5.0

The first lesson with Patricia was so good. I was nervous but she made me feel relaxed and I was able to remember some Portuguese I learnt ages ago. She corrected me when she needed to and that was so helpful.

Patrícia is excellent at what she does. I have had many lessons with her and I always am looking forward to the next one. Her lessons are always really fun, and I feel I have learned a lot in the last few months. I would recommend her to anyone!

Patrícia was great! I took her free lesson. I'm at around Level A2 in Portuguese Just needing more conversational practice under pressure. She was very patient, allowing me to work through the words and sentences at my own pace which helped me relax and focus. Great personality, great at explaining, and speaks great English which is good when I get into trouble. I would highly recommend giving her a try.
