🇫🇷 Je m'appelle Ian, j'ai 36 ans et je suis français. Je viens de la ville de Pau au sud-ouest de la France, à la frontière avec l'Espagne. Depuis quelques années j'habite en Asie, principalement en Indonésie sur l'île de Java.
🇬🇧 My name is Ian, I am 36 years old and I am French. I come from the city of Pau in the southwest of France, on the border with Spain. For a few years now I have been living in Asia, mainly in Indonesia on the island of Java.Me as a Teacher
🇫🇷 Je suis devenu professeur de français il y a 7 ans, d'abord en travaillant avec des enfants puis avec des adultes. J'utilise l'anglais et l'indonésien pour me faire comprendre de mes étudiants débutants. J'aime beaucoup travailler avec des adolescents ayant des difficultés à l'école, et aussi avec des adultes pour faire des cours de conversation.
🇬🇧 I became a French teacher 7 years ago, first working with children and then with adults. I use English and Indonesian to make myself understood by my beginners students. I really enjoy working with teenagers who have difficulty in school, and also with adults doing conversation classes.My lessons & teaching style
🇫🇷 J'utilise principalement des documents PDF, Google Doc et Skype avec mes élèves. Je prépare mes cours à l'avance en fonction des besoins de mes étudiants. Pour les élèves possédants déjà un bon niveau, j'aime utiliser des articles de presse française, des films et des livres pour servir de bases à des cours de conversation.
🇬🇧 I mainly use PDF, Google Doc and Skype with my students. I prepare my classes in advance, according to the needs of my students. For students who already have a good level, I like to use articles from the French press, films and books to serve as the basis for conversation lessons.My teaching material

I have done 7 lessons with Ian now, and I thoroughly enjoy my time learning with him. I have a 5 lesson package and will most defiantly continue my lessons with him. He is very reliable and the lessons are engaging and interesting. He is very friendly and patient for any level of learner. Highly highly recommended

I have just finished a 10 lesson package with Ian (I also bought a single lesson before the package), and I am so impressed and happy with Ian and the progress I have made. Ian always has something interesting and cool to talk about and talks at a speed that I can understand. I am so grateful that I’ve found Ian as a teacher and I will be taking out another 10 lesson package with him again very soon so I can keep my French up. Ian is also 100% reliable and never has to cancel. I always feel so motivated after a lesson with Ian and it makes me want to continue to see further improvements.
