Hello!
My name is Sasha and I’m a certified TEFL teacher with over 5 years of teaching experience. I’m originally from England, however, I’ve lived abroad for the majority of my life. After completing my Masters in Anthropology, I moved to southern Portugal, where I’m currently based.
My Hobbies and Interests: I’m an avid traveller and have visited over 60 countries, throughout Africa, Asia and Europe. Along with travelling I enjoy cooking and spending time outdoors. I am also a passionate advocate for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.Me as a Teacher
I hold a 120 Hour Premier TEFL Certificate, with modules including 1 on 1 Teaching, Remote Teaching and a Grammar and Methodology course. I also have over 5 years of teaching experience, both online and in the classroom. My teaching style is very relaxed and conversational. The focus is on building fluency and recreating natural discussion, as you would have in a real-life setting.
Who I Teach: My classes focus on enhancing conversational English skills and cross-cultural communication skills. They are suited for beginner, intermediate and advanced learners. I also have specialised lessons for Young Learners and Children. I also provide Proofreading and Editing as well as Teacher Training.My lessons & teaching style
Teaching Style: Relaxed and conversational. The focus is on building confidence and fluency.
Trial Lessons: A trial lessons is an informal meeting that aims to give you a taste of my teaching style. During our trial lesson we can discuss your needs, reasons for learning English and what you aim to achieve during our lessons.
During a Lesson: I am happy to offer you corrections on any errors regarding grammar, vocabulary or pronunciation. I can assist you with all aspects of your learning, including speaking, listening, reading and writing. I can also provide you with suggestions on areas of improvement and ways to achieve these. I am also happy to help with editing and proofreading.My teaching material

Sasha is an excellent teacher. She sends me a lot of interesting articles and during the lessons we speak about many topics that I like very much and we have a lot of funny dialogs. She is very helpful, very nice, very funny and very patient. She helps me to improve my vocabulary and my knowledge of English! Studying English has always been difficult for me but with Sasha I have considerably improved my level. Sasha motivates me a lot to do well. She would adopt teaching materials according to my needs and always encourage me.
We had several lessons together, including interviews, grammar teaching, daily chats and etc! No matter what we are learning, she would instruct and guide me in a great and enjoyable way!
