Hello! My name is Anna. I am from Ohio in the United States. I have been a teacher for about 19 years. I typically teacher English and French conversation classes. I speak English, French, and Spanish. I currently live in Lima, Peru with 6 dogs and a tortoise named Hugo. Bonjour! Je m'appelle Anna. Je suis de l'état d'Ohio dans les États-Unis. Je suis prof d'anglais depuis 2006. Je parle anglais, français et español. Actuellement j'habite à Lima en Pérou avec 6 chiens et un tortue qui s'appelle Hugo. Hola! Soy Anna. Me as a Teacher

I like to tailor my lessons to the needs of my students. I can teach conversation topics with visual supports or help to prepare you for tests and certifications. I have experience with Cambridge and IELTS exam preparation. I also have many years of experience teaching business English. I can help to prepare students for interview, or review work projects, CVs, cover letters, etc. I try to cover reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and culture in the same classes or over a series of classes, if that is what works best for the student.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons have a structure of conversation and also reinforcement through reading or writing exercises. With long term students, I will give homework if that is what works best for students to review at home in between lessons. I use Google Classroom to keep students organized and so that they can access audio files, video files or other readings and review materials.
