Hi!
My name is Ria.
I live in Port Elizabeth in South-Africa.
I love travelling and have spent two years living in London in England. I have also been to Brazil, Spain, Australia and The USA.
I have many different friends from across the globe. The next country I want to visit is the Finland.
My hobbies are: sewing my own clothes and building jigsaw puzzles.
I love hanging out with my friends and getting to know new people.Me as a Teacher
My qualifications are:
Bachelors’ degree in Drama.
Post-Graduate Teaching Certificate
Honours of Bachelors in Education
Level 3 TEFL certificate.
I also have 14 years of teaching experience and 3 years experience in Italki.
I have a neutral South-African accent and my voice is clear and easy to understand.My lessons & teaching style
I believe that the best way to learn a language is by speaking that language as much as possible.
I believe that practicing listening helps to develop speaking skills faster. Confidence and fluency comes when you practice speaking and listening (Conversation practice)

Ria is a patient, dedicated, and kind teacher, also a good listener who is really understanding and liberal. I love her so much!!! 🩷🩷🩷
As I am an introverted person whose English is not very good also. She keeps encourage me and tried to understand me even though I didn’t express clearly. This truly helps me build my confidence in speaking English. We shared a lot of things during our classes, which I think it’s meaningful, interesting and also helpful for my speaking English.
