Hello everyone! My name is Ryoya or you can call me Roy if you find it easier to remember. I had exchange years both in Switzerland and Luxembourg during my school time. After graduation from university, I became a JICA volunteer in Belize for two years to promote environmental education. Now I am back in Luxembourg again and have just completed my master's degree in multilingualism and multiculturalism. As you can see, I have lived in many countries and I really enjoyed spending time interacting with many people from all over the world. Let's get our lesson started! I am here to support you to improve your Japanese language. Like other teachers do here, I have learned many languages in my life so far to be able to communicate with as many people in the world as I can. I totally understand how hard/challenging it is to start learning a new language but it is very fun at the same time! ■Certification■ ・420 hours Japanese Language Teaching Course (Completed) ・Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test Furthermore, I worked in the field of education both in Taiwan and in Belize for over 2years in total even though it was not a language lesson. But I am sure that I have enough experiences to interact with people who have different background. I will focus on conversational skill so I will ask you to keep talking with me about any topics and I often use the chat room to correct your pronunciation and grammar mistakes. I would prepare the some topics so that you can choose...

Roy always provides insights that help me to have a more complete understanding of Japanese. He takes the time to explain not just how to say or write something in Japanese but also why. Understanding the logic behind the various constructions makes Japanese much less mysterious.

J'ai passé un excellement moment en compagnie de Ryoya. Il s'est très bien adapté à mon niveau de débutant, et s'est montré très attentionné et patient. C'était la première fois que j'avais l'occasion de pratiquer mon japonais, et ça m'encourage vraiment à continuer mes efforts ! りょや先生、ありがとうございました。

Roy excels in explaining subtle details in the grammar. Issues that seemed mysterious in my previous studies in Japanese now make more sense. I look forward to more lessons with Roy. ロイは素晴らしい先生です! 私は彼から多くのことを学びました。

りょや先生はやさしくて、僕の片言なのにとても我慢だと思います。あっという間に授業を僕のレベルにして、深く説明して、会話を続くために良い質問を聞きました。ぜひおすすめです!
