150-Hour Advanced TESOL Certificate - International Open Academy (IOA) - 2023I passed the advanced teaching certificate, with a focus on online teaching, with a score of 99.56%. I was able to refresh and hone my teaching skills after several years of teaching.

CIE A Levels - Cambridge International Examinations - 2016I studied Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics at a Pre-University level or Year 1 of the American college system. It is also Year 1 of medical school in some countries. The course follows the Cambridge syllabus and the final exam is marked by CIE.
SPM High School Leavers' Examination - Ministry of Education, Malaysia - 2014I passed English, Malay and Mandarin Chinese native level exams with flying colours. I was top of the class and form in English for the majority of my time during my upper secondary years. I was also part of the school debate team.
1119 English - University of Cambridge - 2014I got the highest grade in this native speaker/user level English examination. The exam was taken in Malaysia and our answers were sent to Cambridge, UK for grading.

TeacherI taught schoolchildren, aged 6-18, English, Malay and Mandarin Chinese using the Malaysian and International syllabus (e.g. IGCSE). My students included both native and second language students. Some of the areas of law I studied include Common Law Reasoning, Company Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, Equity & Trusts, EU Law, Evidence Law, IP Law, Jurisprudence, Land Law, Law of Tort, Legal Systems & Methods, Public Law, Animal Law, Family Law, International Law and Internet Law & Regulation. All academic classes were conducted in English.
We had some modules in Malay too.
I also took German classes for a year, passing the A2+ level exam.
2022 - 2023
Bachelor’s - Advanced TESOL (English teaching certificate)150-Hour Advanced Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Certificate.
Modules include pedagogy, classroom management, how to teach, continuous improvement and online teaching.

After all these lessons with Kai, I have grown in several ways. Firstly, I am not afraid of speaking and writing anymore, especially writing. It helps me with my Chinese writing too. Now, I feel less pressure when I write, whether in English or in Chinese. I like to listen to podcasts and I can listen to most of the contents of different podcasts without subtitles or transcripts. I am also able to express myself better. When I write, I need to think, which helps me speak and write more logically. That is a hidden advantage of writing.
