Mit navn er Kamilla og jeg studerer psykologi i Aarhus!
I am born and raised in Denmark, but I also appreciate my Polish heritage from my mothers side. I speak Danish and English fluently and Polish nearly fluently.
I love to learn new languages, travelling, expanding my horizons and learning about new cultures and people. Psychology is of course one of my biggest passions! I also love music, I have played music for many years and I also listen to it a lot, especially rock, jazz and classical music.Me as a Teacher
My approach as a teacher and in life, is to always be openminded and patient. I try to create a cozy (hyggelig) atmosphere in which learning happens naturally. As a psychology student I know the value of positive experiences while learning.
I have taught in different settings before. Most notably I have been a mentor for Danish high school students where I have guided them through stressful exams or courses. I have also taught as a substitute teacher in a primary school, mainly taking Danish, English and music classes. My lessons & teaching style
In my lessons you can expect to challenge yourself with speaking. Danish is not a complicated language grammatically (generally), it is usually the pronunciation which causes people trouble. My lessons are informal and learning happens naturally through interesting conversations and exchanges of insights and stories. If you are looking for a teacher to study more systematically, I might not be the right teacher for you. But if you are looking for easy-going, fun and engaging Danish conversations, here I am!

I am really enjoying my lessons with Kamilla. She is really good at getting you talking, helpful with correcting your mistakes and teaching you lots of new phrases. I would definitely recommend taking lessons with her if you need to practice your Danish :)
