Rie

I've had 9 lessons with Rie-sensei now, and I cannot recommend her enough. She is very patient with me (I am still very novice!) and engages with me brilliantly, and has made me feel very comfortable trying to push myself and try to give more complex answers which is helping me a lot - and should say a lot as I am not made comfortable very easily! She's excellent, a great listener, encouraging and just very very good at what she does.

Rie-san has been my Japanese teacher since 2022! I have learned so much from her teaching style. I feel like I'm getting to understand how Japanese works, and not just memorizing words. Rie makes it fun and interesting, and always incorporates aspects of my life into our lessons. I highly recommend Rie!

I have to admit that I haven't been actively studying Japanese on my own for a while so I'm glad Rie先生 didn't mind it and was still patient to teach me even though I've gotten reeeaaally rusty😭

"The Best Teacher in Town". Rie sensei will teach you grammar and a lot of vocabulary that are useful in daily conversation. She always listens to you very attentively and helps to correct your grammar. A very bright and sunny person that you can feel very safe and comfortable to talk with. Learn a lot of stuff and have a lot of fun in each lesson. Thank youuuuu!

I asked for conversation practice and that's what I got. Rie communicated well at my level of Japanese, while making notes about my errors and problems. It all went well and was a fun lesson.
