Hi and welcome on my profile. My name is Tilly and I'm a native German speaker from Berlin, now living in Yokohama.
I started my learning journey with Japanese as an adult. And it's quite challenging, even after decades living in the country.
My lessons are well structured and focused on your goals. But most and foremost it should be fun! I will teach you not only German words and grammar. You will enjoy the relaxed learning environment I create.

I teach German for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners. Whatever level you are, don't worry. My lessons are focused on conversation so that students have a chance to interact through verbal communication and participate in the learning of a new language. I want you to have fun in our class. Let's talk about culture, society, sight seeing spots, etc. … what are your interests?

What are your needs? What is your goal? I will give my best to pick you up, work with you on your indivudual speed and abilities. I will give you a feeling of the process, of your improvement. Having fun is important for sustainable language acquisition - for adult learners, too.
During my lessons, please, do not feel unconvinient making mistakes. I am here for correcting you, explaining, showing you new ways of learning German. We can work on topics, on situations, doing presentions, prepare interviews, work with stories or articles, using music etc.
