Ryo Nakahara is a fantastic teacher I highly recommend! He has really helped me to feel comfortable with speaking in Japanese over the course of our lessons.

Ryo was so friendly and helpful! I had some very specific phrases I needed to learn for a project, and he not only helped me work on pronouncing them, he also helped me improve some of the phrasing. He was incredibly adaptable and patient, and made me feel comfortable trying to say new words. I highly recommend him.

I have taken multiple classes with Ryo and I feel better prepared for my trip to Japan next month. I started my journey knowing a few words (hello, thank you, excuse me etc.) and now I am able to introduce myself, ask for directions and order food.
