Fully qualified teacher with bags of experience. Hello! My name is Adam and I'm an Englishman, from the northern city of Newcastle Upon Tyne. These days, I live and work in Germany, working as an international school teacher. I have over 7 years experience of teaching, as well as achieving fully qualified teacher status from Newcastle University in 2019. Prior to my teaching career, I gained a BA in English and History from Liverpool John Moores University. Additionally, I am a qualified ESL teacher and have experience teaching English across a range of different countries and contexts. In 2014, I gained my ESL qualification at distinction level and moved to South Korea to teach English for 2 years. After that, I spent another 2 years working as an English teacher and personal tutor in Prague, Czech Republic. After these immensely rewarding experiences, I decided to make teaching my profession and studied primary school education at Newcastle University and achieved a PGCE and fully qualified teacher status. Since then, I've worked as a classroom teacher in London and now Germany. Language learning is one of the most challenging pursuits one can undertake but that doesn't mean it can't be fun, exciting, valuable and rewarding. This is what I aim my lessons to be. Whether you prefer textbook based lessons or just conversation, I will make it my priority to find out your learning style and adapt my lessons to cater for your needs and goals.
