Native Catalan Teacher | Personalised Lessons & Real-Life Conversation Hi! I’m Marta, a native Catalan and Spanish speaker from Barcelona. I was born and raised in Barcelona, and at 22 I moved to Scotland. Since then, I’ve travelled and lived in different places, meeting people from many cultures and discovering different ways of seeing the world. This experience taught me how much we can learn from one another. I’ve been teaching for over 15 years, working with students of different ages in languages, music and science. I studied Psychology and also have training in teaching foreign languages, which has shaped my flexible and student-centred approach. Today, I focus on teaching Catalan because I love my language and culture and enjoy sharing them with people from around the world. My lessons are fully personalised to your goals, interests and level. Whether you’re moving to Catalonia, planning a trip, need Catalan for work or simply want to improve your conversation skills, we’ll focus on what you need. We can work on conversation, pronunciation, listening, grammar or vocabulary, while also exploring Catalan culture through music, traditions, food and everyday life.
