Kyoka is wonderful at making each lesson unique and fun by constantly bringing in new materials to use in class. I have not had a single repetitive class with her. I highly recommend her if you want to learn Japanese

Kyoka Sensei lessons are always incredibly enjoyable. She is easy to talk, helpful, patient, and encouraging. The new grammar we cover is well explained with many examples. Her English proficiency is high , so if I don't understand the material she can assist me .

Kyoka san, is great! Very kind and patient as a fumble through being a complete beginner.

I have really enjoyed my lessons with Kyoka-san. I started with very little knowledge of the language, and had problems recalling the words I had learned. My lessons with Kyoka-san are conversation based, and she continues to build on the complexity of the conversation. I really feel that her teaching style works for me, and I am feeling like I am making real progress towards understanding grammar and vocab. Each lesson challenges me in some way, and at the end I have a sense of accomplishment and am excited for the next session. Working with Kyoka-san has been my favorite learning experience!

I really enjoy my lessons with Kyoka. Japanese is difficult, but she makes it approachable and enjoyable. Always look forward to lessons.
