Hello! My name is Bongi, and I am a certified TESOL English teacher from South Africa.
I have over five years of experience teaching English online through italki, where I work with students from different backgrounds and levels. I specialize in helping learners improve their speaking skills, pronunciation, and confidence in English.
I also have experience working with young learners in a classroom setting, which has helped me develop a patient, engaging, and supportive teaching style. In my lessons, I focus on creating a fun and interactive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves. I use clear instructions, positive encouragement, and simple techniques .
My teaching journey began during my college years, where I took on the rewarding role of tutoring fellow students. Upon graduating, I gained valuable hands-on experience as an assistant teacher for one and a half years — an opportunity that helped shape me into the well-rounded educator I am today. Teaching is not just a profession for me; it is a genuine passion, and I look forward to sharing that enthusiasm with rounded educator I enjoy teaching and I cannot wait to pass my passion for teaching to you .
My teaching style is patient , interactive ,student centered ,demonstrative and organised .I plan my lessons based on the students development .I also encourage students to ask more questions in class so they can learn more .My teaching material
