As an American teacher I have been residing in Guatemala for over a decade and have taught in fields such as world history, English literature, and English as a second language. I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures. I take joy in the art of film, novels, and music. I myself am an author aside from a teacher tending towards the vibrant creative world of science fiction.
Aside from working as an italki teacher work in Guatemala as a college prep teacher helping Guatemalan students achieve acceptance and scholarships to prestigious US colleges. This includes, but not limited to, SAT and TOEFL preparation.Me as a Teacher
Though equipped with an academic mind I consider myself a laid back teacher who likes to laugh and joke. I enjoy getting to know my students to better identify their needs in the language. I attempt to find topics the student may be interested in and using such material in the teaching of the language to create an overall better experience.
