I'm TEFL 120 hours, B.Ed Hons and OET qualified, and my background is in education and geography - with 38 years experience in Teaching, Tourism and Visitor Services. I specialise in supporting B2-C2 students develop their skills for study, travel and life!
I'm happiest outdoors - especially gardening, walking by the coast/in the countryside; but have lived in London and overseas, and love exploring towns, cities and culture locally & further afield too, including in The Netherlands and Hong Kong.
I love connecting with students worldwide from diverse situations.

I’m a highly experienced TEFL qualified online teacher and former classroom teacher. I'm friendly, flexible and patient and want you to feel relaxed and enjoy our lessons as you reach to further develop your existing English skills and knowledge :-)
However, I'm also happy to give clarity and direction on all aspects of English including regular and positive, but specific and honest feedback!
I like to understand why you're learning English, what your approximate current level is, and how I can best support you to cover your learning priorities.
Please book a 30 minute lesson initially. I now offer just 30 and 45 minute lessons. My lessons & teaching style
Teaching and learning is a dynamic and interactive process. I will support your learning through

- Using material to read and discuss thoughts, ideas and opinions on.
- Providing structured practise and preparation for exams, interviews or presentations.
- And giving detailed, informed feedback.
Learning (& teaching!) should be engaging and fun and we'll agree plans together.
Please book a 30 minute first lesson. I offer lessons of either 30 or 45 minutes (sorry not 60).
