My journey to becoming a teacher has been enriching and rewarding. I initially started in project management but after running a scholarship program in the Philippines as a volunteer and then studying philosophy, I turned to teaching. I have been an elementary school teacher for more than ten years, with great success. I have a gift for making concepts and rules understandable. I love grammar, not as a set of rules, but as the underlying structure of a language. I am friendly and patient: I will explain things in various ways until it clicks.
