I like Max's outgoing personality, which makes him a naturally compelling teacher. I'm also glad that, although I learned today that he nearly ingested too much of a poisonous plant, he is alive and well, as I would be deeply saddened to lose such an excellent Hebrew teacher! In all seriousness, today's lesson was great, as always! I especially enjoyed talking about life on TikTok.

Today Max taught me to build a house of cards. It was a cool activity to discuss in Hebrew. Max always comes up with different ways to mix things up and teach me more Hebrew. Thank you!!

I really enjoyed my first hour with Max. He is very laid back, and understanding of my limitations in Hebrew. At the beginning of the lesson, he asked if I wanted him to correct me. When I made a mistake, he was understanding and helped me correct it without judgement He asked lots of open-ended questions that built on whatever I had previously said. He made sure to give me room to talk as much as possible and improve my Hebrew while still giving a natural feel to the conversation. I felt safe and comfortable to talk freely. I highly recommend Max as a language partner and teacher. Looking forward to many more great lessons in the future :)

Max makes learning Hebrew easy! We always end up laughing a ton. I like his conversational approach--that he has real, interesting conversations to help you learn how Hebrew is really spoken and used. Thank you for so many great lessons!
