My lesson with Mary was great. She is very patient with new students and understands the challenges of learning a new language very well. She helped me out with important Russian greetings and general phrases a traveller will find useful during their visit to Russia. She also provided me with some important travelling tips in Russia especially in regards to language. In terms of learning, Mary is very flexible and is able to design the lesson in accordance with the students needs. There are many ways to learn a language. For example- I prefer learning to read first whilst others prefer speaking first. Mary is comfortable with either of these approaches. She does not impose her teaching methods on students but strives to figure what works for them. Hence, I would strongly recommend her as a tutor.
