Once a week, I do volunteer work to teach Japanese to foreign children living in Japan. The lesson was fun and Mai was very helpful in helping me learn. I was able to learn new things. I really liked that she asked me questions in Japanese and let me think about the words and phrases if I knew them but helped if I asked and needed it.

I booked a series of lessons with Mai-san, and today's is the first. It was more of an introduction to get to know each other a little, and I was very happy with what I learned. Mai-san is a very kind and cheerful person to talk to. I very much enjoyed our conversation, and I looked forward to our next lesson!
