First Czech lesson that I didn't feel like quitting :) As a complete beginner in the language, Martin's method of teaching helps me easily learn the language with lots of examples and you will really have to speak which is good in order to practice the pronounciation. He is very patient and friendly. Definitely a highly recommended teacher ;)

The first session was just what I was looking for: for the most part just working on using and listening to the language without falling back on English unless it's really necessary.

I completed 20 lessons with Martin this summer. Before the 1st lesson, I had only finished most of the A1/A2 level textbook “Česky krok za krokem” elsewhere and had rarely practiced outputs. However, during his lessons, he helped me practice both writing and speaking. He gave me a topic to write in every lesson and checked my writing in the next lessons, also wrote lots of Czech words and phrases in our chat box whenever I mistook or didn’t know how to say in Czech, which was really helpful. Thanks to these, doing output practice became a more regular habit for me. I’m still on my way to improve my Czech, but he is surely one of the most appreciated and indispensable teachers for me.

Martin is a fabulous tutor. i feel like i am lesrning so much in a short amount of time and it is all making sense from the start which is really awesome ! im always excited to make "just one more sentence" at night's in my own time after our lessons.
