I also play the lap harp but I’m not good at it yet though. I love traveling abroad and am dying to learn about other cultures! Interacting with people around the world is always inspiring!! I learn some languages on my own and I’m so much into it:-)I ‘m looking forward to see you soon!! こんにちは！わたしの名前(なまえ）は、めりです。日本人（にほんじん）で、日本（にほん）に住（す）んでいます。わたしの趣味（しゅみ）は、絵（え）をかくこと・小（ちい）さいハープをひくこと・外国（がいこく）を旅行（りょこう）することです。いろいろな国（くに）の人たちとお話（はなし）するのが大好（だいす）きです。外国（がいこく）の文化（ぶんか）にもとても興味（きょうみ）があります。外国語（がいこくご）を学（まな）ぶことも大好（だいす）きです。 I firmly believe that if you would like to be a good Japanese speaker, you need to speak a lot as much as possible :-) You don’t have to worry about grammar so much. What you have to do is just hearing Japanese language a lot, like podcasts, movies, animes, music,YouTube videos etc... and speak it . I believe that helps you to pick up words and sentence structures naturally. And you can also pick up native terms from it as well. That will help you speaking Japanese a lot. I contacted Meri sensei to specifically ask her to help me improve my pronunciation and intonation for a speech I will give in a few weeks. After she promptly accepted my request, I was able to book a lesson very easily.
