Native German and Polish speaker with over 5 years teaching experience Hello! My name is Martha and I currently live in Vienna, Austria. I grew up in a multicultural household, with my father being Persian and my mother Polish. I am lucky enough to have lived in different parts of the world and experienced the diverse cultures of those places. Because I grew up in Austria, the land of the mountains, I love going on hikes, skiing, and snowboarding and surfing some waves on my travels. I have always had a huge passion for languages and cultural exchanges, thus helping others improve their communication skills in different areas is a dream come true! I've learned a lot of new languages over the years, which is why I understand which techniques work best for having fun while effectively making progress. My teaching style mostly goes trough conversations. I believe that engaging with the student and teaching accordingly to his level and interests is the key component to a successfull session. Thus, clear communcation is very important. I also like to use tools such as videos, songs or articles which fit the students interests or hobbies, and analyse them with them in class.
