Olá! Hi! My name is Manuel and I am from Portugal. I'm an experienced PLE teacher (PLE - Português como Língua Estrangeira - Portuguese as a Foreign Language) I have more than 15 years of experience in the educational field. My students often say that I am patient, friendly and at the same time always focused on helping the student to improve. I adapt the lessons and teaching methods according to the learning style, goals and needs of each student. I take my job very seriously, so I do my best to help each student make significant progress and to make things simple. I know that learning a language can be very challenging, so I try to make the process of learning very interactive, fun and interesting. We are going to work on the 4 skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. All the lessons will have a focus on your speaking skills to help you improve your fluency and confidence. Examples of some lesson plans: 1-Structured Course of European Portuguese (A1-C2) 2-Conversational lessons (B2-C2) 3-Portuguese for travelers (A1-A2) 4-Grammar and language structure: (A1-C2) 5-Test Preparation for your Portuguese Certificates (CIPLE; DEPLE e DIPLE) If you have other goals, you can send me a message or let me know about them in our first lesson. Today's lesson was very good. We had a really interesting topic and a very clear structured lesson that ticked all my boxes: interactive, interesting, engaging and very useful information and dialogue. We did reading, Q&A, discussion on the topic and did some sentences creation on the fly. Great job Manuel. Just what i need.

Today's lesson we reviewed tpc based on a past lesson. We read an article about AI , discussed the text and answered a range of questions about the text. We highlighted new vocabulary from tpc and the article and had a general conversation about a portuguese book I an reading called O Corvo (Colégio do Templo). Our sessions are very productive and we covered new areas in a format that is helpful to me.
